Don't Hold Your Breath!

Okay so, this is rushed and I'm sorry but I suck at Photoshop and found out about this thing yesterday and it's due Monday. And today was my only day off this week so... I wanted to participate anyway because the idea of a scuba diving gryphon got in my head and I wanted to draw it. And I just like contests. They're fun even when you don't win. Gets you to step out of your comfort zone and try something different.

The object of the contest was to draw the group's mascot, Nurtey, engaging in a summer activity. This may not be the most fantasy-esque activity but I LOVE scuba diving myself and as I mentioned before, the idea just seemed too cute to pass up.

He looks a little uncomfortable, while Neutral Buoyancy Sheepshead there seems amused by his flailing.
I tried to simulate lighting at about 90 ft and the claustrophobic feeling of a relatively low-visibility environment, so the colors are a bit muted.
